Soccer Betting Lines

06/29/2010 - Manchester, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Manchester City is set to complete the signing of Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure from Barcelona.

The 27-year-old, who can also play in defense, has been on World Cup duty with his country in recent times, but is now set to put the finishing touches on a switch to Eastlands, as soon as Barca's new president, Sandro Rosell, takes office.

A statement on Barcelona's official website read: "Director general Joan Oliver has recognized an understanding between the club interested in the midfielder, Manchester City, and Barca, but the transfer cannot be made official yet."

Toure's agent, Dimitri Seluk, added in Spanish newspaper Sport: "I think we will have a solution this week.

"In fact, I would say that it will be done on the first or second of July - maybe on the second because the first will be a very busy day at Barca with the change of president."
