Last season was Neil's seventh with the Senators and he recorded three goals and seven assists in 60 games. He also missed 21 games with two separate leg injuries and one to the flu. The 30-year-old Neil has notched 61 goals and 73 assists in 511 career games. He leads the franchise with 1,298 all-time career penalty minutes.
