MILWAUKEE (AP) -The Milwaukee Bucks have signed first-round draft pick Larry Sanders to a multiyear contract.

General manager John Hammond announced the signing Thursday. Terms were not disclosed.

The Bucks took Sanders with the 15th overall pick in the NBA draft. Sanders, a 6-11 forward, played three seasons for Virginia Commonwealth. He averaged 10.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shots per game while shooting 52 percent from the field at VCU.Copyright © 2005 The Associated P

MILWAUKEE (AP) -A person familiar with the negotiations says the Milwaukee Bucks have re-signed free agent guard John Salmons to a five-year, $40 million deal.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Friday because teams can't officially announce deals until July 8.

Sunnyvale, CA (Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly reached an agreement on a multi-year contract with forward Drew Gooden, just hours after the NBA free agency period began. According to Yahoo! Sports, Gooden has agreed to a five-year, $32 million contract. Gooden has played for eight teams since entering the league in 2002, averaging 11.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for his career. Players cannot officially sign until July 8.
