Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans, the reigning rookie of the Year, pled no contest to reckless driving. Sacramento district attorney Jan Scully made the announcement Friday, saying Evans was ordered to serve three years probation, 80 hours of alternative sentencing and will have to participate in two California Highway Patrol driving programs. Evans' license was suspended for 30 days. The plea stems from a May 31 traffic stop when Evans was driving up to 130

TIMBERWOLVES: Wesley Johnson had problems creating his own shot off the dribble, which is something you definitely don't want to see from the fourth overall pick in the draft. I have a strong feeling the T-wolves will regret this selection. SACRAMENTO KINGS: Sacramento has to be thrilled with the play of Cousins, its first-round pick. He scored inside and out, rebounded and passed the ball extremely well while showing a really good feel for the game. The former Kentucky center could turn out to

se), Small Forward (6-7, 205) - Despite his annoying bloviating and his comically inept criticism of Favors, Wolves basketball chief David Kahn got his man in Johnson, a silky- smooth small forward with a big wingspan and a nice jumper. 5. - Sacramento Kings - DeMarcus Cousins (Kentucky), Center (6-11, 280) - Last year Sacramento fell from No. 1 to four in the lottery and lucked out by snaring Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans, a player that is now the cornerstone of the franchise. the Hornets' Darren Collison and Jrue Holiday of the Sixers, all look like long-time starters. Denver's Ty Lawson also showed enough to suggest he may also be handling a team relatively soon. Meanwhile, Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans of the Sacramento Kings and Golden State's Stephen Curry proved to be upper-echelon combo guards in their rookie seasons, and perhaps the most ballyhooed backcourt prospect of them all, Spain's Ricky Rubio, never even made it over from Europe after being selected b
Philadelphia 76ers 2010 Draft Preview Mon Jun 21 15:45:53 2010 EST
(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the more active teams early in the offseason, naming Doug Collins as the team's new head coach, and trading disappointing center Samuel Dalembert to the Sacramento Kings. Collins is a huge upgrade over Eddie Jordan and the Sixers were able to get two solid rotational players for the overpaid Dalembert, center Spencer Hawes and forward Andres Nocioni. Now comes the third piece to the puzzle, the second overall pick. The Sixers jumped up
