Lowe spent the last five seasons at North Carolina State, his alma mater, and failed to make the NCAA Tournament during a tenure that ended in March with a record of 86-78. Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Utah Jazz big man Mehmet Okur will play basketball in Turkey until the NBA lockout is over. The Deseret News reported, per his agent, that Okur signed a contract with Turk Telekom Ankara on Wednesday. A clause in the agreement allows him to return to the Jazz once the NBA's labor dispute is settled. In just 13 games last year, Okur averaged 4.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. The nine-year NBA veteran missed time with injuries.
